Just wondering if anyone is thinking of selling a mini or knows of one for sale somewhere? We are looking for a car that the wife can use as a daily run around. Anything considered as long as body work is good.

Also after a scrap mini for a trailer project if anyone has anything suitable?

Hi,
Had yesterday off work, so gave the ignition sytem a complete overhaul. Fitted new dizzy, rotor, points, condenser, leads and plugs. Played around with the idle settings and got the car running really well!

When we got back, i popped out to pick up a can of oil so i could do an oil change. Unfortunately the clutch decided to pack up on the way home. Managed to get her towed home. The slave cylinder is knackered(probably from me pumping pedal trying to find a gear!) Ive removed the clutch cover and have found the release bearing has fallen apart. I now need to remove the flywheel to access the clutch so i can decide what parts i need to order up. Cant see a way to remove the flywheel without a puller.

Spent all morning driving round colchester trying to find a flywheel puller-Ive tried Marks tey motor spares, part co, unipart,Machine mart and motor parts direct (who kindly rang round 5 other places with no joy!) dont suppose anyone knows anywhere that may have one on the shelf???
