Following the hefty changes James has introduced to the way the club works, I have reorganised the forum in some fairly radical ways.


If you are a fully paid-up member then you should have been set up here as a 'member', which gives you access to some members-only forums. This includes details of the events we're doing, for sale items, downloads and more. It's like it was before, only better.

If you've not paid your membership subscription but are registered on the forum anyway you will have access to all the public forums, and will be able to reply and post new threads as often as you like.

If you're not registered here at all, you're effectively a visitor. You can view all our public forums, but you won't be able to reply to anything.


I hope that's clear. If you're struggling to find anything now that it's all moved, or if you've paid your membership but still can't access the members-only area, please let me know and I'll sort it out.

Incidentally, full members are now denoted by gold medals instead of silver.

Should be fixed now Wayne. It seems the way I'd set up the permissions wasn't right, so I've changed it and hopefully it'll all be working now. Let me know if it isn't though!

Due to popular demand, the "For sale" and "Wanted" sections have been moved back into the public part of the forum, so that non-members can still use it. We thought it was a good idea at first, giving incentives and bonuses to our members, but in the end we accepted that we also had to strike a balance between that and keeping our non-members happy. Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused in the meantime.

And if there is anything else you reckon the forum or web site could do with, let me know. I'm open to suggestions...
