Description
Only 1,000 Mini Sidewalks were ever made, and not all in this colour, so this would be relatively rare even if it was standard. However, many modifications have been made to add to the car's identity, adding various refinements to make it a more enjoyable car to drive. Handles motorways surprisingly well, and the RC-40 exhaust really does smoothen out the acceleration, making it lots of fun to drive too. The 5-spoke alloys are unusual and add character and grip. It's not perfect, it does have a little rust on the doors and under the headlights, but on the whole it's a very solid and reliable car - starts first time every time, even in the depths of winter, and the heater unit works too!

Family circumstances forces sale - this little car will be sorely missed!

The only thing to add to this is that I won't be able to physically part with the car until I have a replacement sorted. I'll be looking at buying a new car this month, so I expect by the end of the month it'll be available. I just figured I'd pop the details up here to get the ball rolling and give people a chance to think about it.

Price has now been reduced from £2299 to £2100, and is available NOW. I also have a box of bits that you might like if you plan on returning the car to original spec.

Matthew,

I would put all the std back on the car before you sell it,and then sell
of the aftermarket parts off.

Yeah, I had read that elsewhere. I think the only major thing that's non-standard that people are going to worry about is the wheels, and I've already had to swap them for the originals, as I discovered one of the tyres has developed a slow puncture! Fortunately I still had the originals, just had to fill them with air again. I'll have to sell the alloys separately. Other than that, the dashboard is non-standard but it's not gonna come out easily. The Sony CD player is non-standard too, but I can't see that devaluing the car! There are a couple of extra bits of chrome on the outside, but nothing that changes the look of the car drastically, and none of which would be easily sold on later.

But thanks for the comment, Rod. Just got to sell the car now! Gave it a good clean today, so if nothing else it'll look good...

If you really need to sell asap you'll need to drop the price to about
£1500 ono,Take a look on Ebay you'll be shocked how low the prices
are at the moment,it's a buyers market.
